Mr. Fletcher was born on August 19th, 1942 in Yadkin County to the late Paul Fletcher and Adelene Hutchens Fletcher.
Mr. Fletcher retired from Thomasville Furniture after 37 years of service.
Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 32 years, Johnnie Sue Key Fletcher of the home; two sons Wayne Fletcher of East Bend and Michael (Mandy) Hall of Mount Airy; three daughters Diane "Tootie" Bray of Elkin, Debbie Frady of Hamptonville, and Tina (Gary) Kendrick of Bassett, VA; six brothers John (Vexie) of Yadkinville, Waymie of King, Gary of Tobaccoville, Jim (Bobbie) of Tobaccoville, twins Donnie and Ronnie of East Bend; one sister Nancy Fletcher of East Bend; eleven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
A graveside service for Mr. Fletcher will be held at 11am on Saturday July 5th, 2014 at East Bend Evangelical Methodist Church Cemetery with the Pastor Jimmy Davis officiating.
