Lola I. Inscho was born July 4, 1917 in Cohocton, a daughter of Howard and Edith (Briglin) Wheaton. She married Chester Inscho on July 25, 1936.

Mrs. Inscho was a homemaker and mother of 16 children. She was also employed at different times by several local companies including the Gunlocke Chair Factory, the Birds Eye Canning Factory and A.B. Cowles Publishing, all in Wayland. She was an active member of the Wayland United Methodist Church and served as an usher frequently.

In her younger years, she enjoyed camping. She was known to have a "green thumb," and was often absorbed in her garden. She enjoyed watching favorite soap operas on television, but most of all she loved spending time with her family.

At the age of 93, Mrs. Inscho passed away peacefully on Saturday, July 2, 2011, at her home in Wayland surrounded by her family. Chester had predeceased her in 1975. She was also predeceased by a daughter, Kathleen E. Watkins; and two infant sons, Wendell and Jeffrey Inscho.

Mrs. Inscho was survived by two sisters, nine sons, four daughters, 29 grandchildren, 25 great-grandchildren, four great-great-grandchildren and several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services were at Wayland United Methodist Church, Corner of Lackawanna and East Avenue, Wayland. Burial was in the Village Cemetery, Wayland.
