Mr. Monte M. Parlmer, aged 50, of Grand Rapids, went to be with the Lord unexpectedly Friday, August 15, 2008. He will be deeply missed by his sons, Drew Parlmer and Corey Parlmer; his mother, Shirley Parlmer; brothers and sisters, Mark (Gloria) Parlmer, Mandy (Bill) Carlton, Michelle (Steve) Devlaemink, Matthew (Heather) Parlmer, Missy (Jeff) Jacobson; nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in by his father, Peter; and sister, Margaret. Monte was an avid outdoorsman who especially loved to golf. The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated Wednesday 11 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua Church where he will repose one hour before the mass. Interment St. Mary's Church Cemetery, Sand Lake. The family will receive visitors Tuesday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Arsulowicz Brothers Remembrance Mortuary, 3525 Remembrance Rd.
