William H. Aeschleman, 73, of 1202 E. Parkside Lane died at 1:37 a.m. Monday, Dec. 2, 1991, at Proctor Community Hospital.

Born Sept. 20, 1918, in Roanoke to Ed and Sarah Blunier Aeschleman, he married LaVerne Dodd on May 7, 1949, in Peoria.

She survives along with one son, Steve, and one daughter, Gynell Zich, both of Peoria; two brothers, Sol of Peoria and Lawrence of Roanoke; one sister, Lea Frank of LaCrosse, Ind.; and two grandchildren. Two sisters and five brothers preceded him in death.

A World War II Army veteran, he worked at C. Iber & Sons Inc. before retiring in 1980. He was a member of Sheridan Road Apostolic Christian Church and Laborers Union Local 165. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at his church, with church ministers officiating. Visitation will be from 5 to 7 tonight at Woolsey-Wilton Funeral Home, and one hour before the services at the church. Burial will be in Peoria Apostolic Christian Church Cemetery.
