Charles Estes Addington, age 92, a Kenefic, Oklahoma resident was born on Wednesday, May 17, 1922 to Charles and Arabella McKinzie Addington at Bradleyville, Missouri. Charles passed away on Friday, July 4, 2014 at Kenefic, Oklahoma.

He graduated from Stringtown High School. Charles was a Rancher and was the former owner and operator of Addington Grocery in Adel, Oklahoma. He proudly served his country in U.S Army during World War II.

He married Edith Marie Baker on November 1, 1947 in Rockwall, Texas. Charles was of the Baptist faith. He loved ranching, dancing and in his younger days Charles loved goat roping and spent a lots of Sunday afternoons watching his favorite sport.

Charles is survived by his wife, Edith Marie Addington of the home in Kenefic, Oklahoma, children, Kenneth Addington of Kenefic, Oklahoma, Danny Addington and wife Linda of Clayton, Oklahoma and Cathy Boles of Kenefic, Oklahoma, grandchildren Jonathan Addington and wife Telisa of Daisy, Oklahoma, Leah Edwards and husband Randy of Lucas, Texas, Melodee Parker and husband Gary of Flint, Texas, Misty Clark of McKinney, Texas, Amy Addington of Plano, Texas, Rusty Boles and wife Angel of Denton, Texas and Justin Boles and wife Bobbi of Kenefic, Oklahoma, sister, Geraldine Caldwell of Caddo, Oklahoma, seventeen great grandchildren, very special cousin, Joyce Corley of Yukon, Oklahoma, very special niece, Sheri Drinning of Bells, Texas along with numerous other family and dear, loved friends.

Charles is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Arabella McKinzie Addington, infant brother Dwayne Addington and grandson, Lester Addington.

Services are 10:00 a.m. Tuesday, July 8, 2014, Brown's Funeral Chapel, Atoka, Oklahoma, officiated by Bro. Bob Muncey with interment at Mountain Home Cemetery, Daisy, Oklahoma.
Casket bearers are Rusty Boles, Justin Boles, Jonathan Addington, Garrett Addington, Norman White and Terry Satterfield. Honorary casket bearers are Hotshot Pidgue, Pat Parks, Pat Robinson and Freelin Cooper.
