A resident of Morganza, Marie died at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Oct. 11, 1996, at Pointe Coupee General Hospital, New Roads. She was 64 and native of Tickfaw and a former long-time resident of Gonzales. Visiting at St. Ann's Catholic Church CCD Building, Morganza, 5 p.m. to 10 p.m. Sunday, and after 8 a.m Monday. Mass of Christian Burial at the church at 10 a.m. Monday. Interment in church cemetery. Survived by husband of 42 years, Nolan George Allement, four daughters, a sister, and seven grandchildren. Preceded in death by parents, William Lee and Hazel Aldridge; three sisters, Louise Jordan, Willie Lee Jones and Bessie Provost; and two brothers, Thomas [sic] Aldridge and Zebedee Aldridge.
