Patricia Louise Andrus Schepps, born to Ike and Nettie Andrus in Corsicana, Texas on February 18, 1919. She died peacefully at home in Dallas, Texas on August 31, 2010 at the age of 91. Preceded in death by her husband and soul mate, Eli, by her parents, and numerous brothers and sisters. Survived by daughter and son-in-law, Becky and Nathan Cowart; 3 grandchildren, Brennen, Holly and Hunter Cowart; special niece and nephew, Becky and Joe Giles and numerous other nieces, nephews, and friends whom she dearly loved. She was an active member of Royal Lane Baptist Church and lifetime member of O.E.S. She was a Red Cross Volunteer nurse during WWII and helped her husband in business. Patricia was vivacious, independent, and generous. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy. Her life was full of adventure and fun. We will miss her, but take comfort in knowing she has been reunited with those she has loved and missed so much over the years. A special thank you to the caregivers of September Services. Funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday at Royal Lane Baptist Church, 6707 Royal Lane, Dallas, Texas, Dr. Ray Vickery and Joe Giles, officiating. Private entombment Hillcrest Mausoleum. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Royal Lane Baptist Church or the charity of your choice.
