Mrs. Semler was born March 20, 1886, in Putnam County to John and Amelia (Winkler) Bauer. She married Byron Semler Jan. 19, 1919, and he died in Aug. 5, 1873.
Surviving are a daughter Mrs. Lester (Virginia) Latta, Hicksville; two grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Semler was a registered nurse and a member of Eagle Creek Church of the Brethren, McComb.
Services were Wednesday in Hartley Funeral Home, McComb, the Rev. Robert Hayes and the Rev. Raymond LaRue officiating. Brial was in Eagle Creek Cemetery, Williamstown.
