Lucinda Fox was a daughter of David Fox and Jeannette Lewis. She was probably named after her maternal grandmother, Lucinda Middaugh Lewis. Her father was a native of Derbyshire, England and her mother was born in Plymouth. Lucinda married Lewis Richards. They had five children, a son who died as an infant and four daughters:

1) Mabel Richards Case 1906-1983, married Clarence Case (1905-1955)
2) Edna Richards 1912-2001, married James Powell
3) Rae Richards 1916-1982, married first Thomas Jones (1916-1950) and second Arthur Hayman (1916-2004)
4) Alice Richards 1918-1995, married Foster Morgan (died 1 February 1945 in Italy)
