PRATTVILLE — Funeral service for Clarence Jones, 76, will be Wednesday, Sept. 5, at 11 a.m. at Curtis and Son North Chapel and 3 p.m. at graveside in Prattville Memory Gardens with Pastor Tim Teague and Harold Peters officiating. Mr. Jones died at his residence on Sept. 1, 2007. He attended First Church of God in Sylacauga. He is survived by his wife, Shirley LaVoy Jones of Sylacauga; his son, Monty Ray Jones of Sylacauga; his daughters, Carrol Anne Stockton of Corinth, Miss., Deborah Kay "Deb" McNeal of Prattville and Rhonda ReNay Blackmon of Prattville; his bothers, J.W. Jones of Sylacauga and Don Jones of Sylacauga; his sisters, Gladys Peters of Sylacauga, Patty Nell Shaw of Sylacauga, Marie Duncan of Sylacauga and Ramona Cost of Sylacauga; 14 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers will be Roger Dale Horn, Jim Dodd, Buddy Barnett, Heath McNeal, Dale Robertson and Paster James. Visitation will be Tuesday, Sept. 4, from 5-8 p.m. Curtis and Son Funeral Home North Chapel will direct the service.
