Son of the late Wiley and Mildred Andoe Barrett; widower of Lois Marie "Becky" Newsome Barrett.

Veteran of the United States Army and served in World War II.

Survived by three daughters and a son; two sons-in-law and a daughter-in-law; three grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and a brother.

Funeral services: Thursday, July 10, 2014, chapel of Liberty Mortuary.

Burial: Flat Rock Baptist Church, with full
military honors.
