She was a native and lifelong resident of Bulloch County, was a loving mother, grandmother, and mother-in-law. She was a homemaker and an apartment owner and manager. She was of the Baptist faith. She was preceded in death by her husband, Albert "Bish" Murphy. Survivors: four daughters and sons-in-law, thirteen grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
