The Fresno Bee The Republican, 2 April 1945, Page 9 - "FRANK RAMP - Frank Ramp, 73, retired hostler for the Santa Fe Railway Company, died yesterday afternoon in a local sanitarium. He had lived in Fresno for the past 30 years, and was a member of the Knights of Pythias, the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers and St. Paul's Methodist Church. He was born in Emporia, Kan. Survivors include his widow, Mrs. Mabel Ramp o 3250 Avenue; a daughter, Miss Hazel Ramp of the same address, and a sister, Mrs. Mary Oliphant, of Chanute, Kan. Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock in the Stephens Memorial Chapel with Rev. Ray Willing Smith officiating, followed by entombment in the Chapel of the Light."
