In the early part of their married life, they took up their abode in North Muskegon,Michigan but later moved back to West Virginia, living on Turkey Creek the remaining part of his life. Joseph worked in the lumber business and also did some Farming. To this union was born the following children: -(Vernila Prince Cook B.Oct 6,1897-D.?)/ Mary Edith Cook Jackson B.Aug 13,1898-D.Feb 22,1984,/ Minnie Cora Cook B.June 8,1902-D.? Birth Michigan,/ Henry Garth Cook B.1903-D.Apr 21,1950 Burial Place Pineville W.Va.,/ Viola Gay Cook Anderson B.Oct 12,1904-D.May 6,1988,/ Roy Lowell Cook B.Sept 4,1906-D. Jan 26,1970, /Stella M Cook B.March 1,1908-D. ?,/ Joseph H Cook B.Nov 20,1909-D.Aug 4,1970./ (father) Joseph was killed at Davy, West Virginia in the fall of 1910. This was a very sad occurance. His father and mother had been out on a visit from Muskegon,Michigan and Joseph had helped them on the train and said good bye and while getting off fell under the train.
