Mrs. Julia Farrar, wife of Mr. Benjamin F. Farrar and mother of the Municipal Justice John R. Farrar, of the Second District Municipal Court, died of heart disease on Tuesday at her home, No. 537 Quincy street, Brooklyn. Mrs. Farrar was born in Paterson, N. J., and had been a resident of Brooklyn for forty-six years. She was seventy years old, and had long been a member of the Sumner Avenue Methodist Episcopal Church. The pastor, the Rev. Dr. John H. Beil, will officiate at the funeral services this evening. Mrs. Farrar leaves her husband, a retired dry goods merchant and prominent in republican politics, her son and one daughter, the wife of Mr. John H. McEwan, and one grandchild.
