He was born Jan. 19, 1930, in Louisa, Ky.
On Nov. 13, 1948, in Chicago, Ill., he married Lillian D. Milligan.
He moved to Grants Pass from San Dimas, Calif., in 1974. He worked for Stone Forest Products in Grants Pass for 15 years and retired in 1992.
Waldon enjoyed fishing at Baker Park, golfing, bowling, reading, and watching wrestling on television.
In addition to his wife, survivors include three sons, Billy Waldon Jr. and Thomas Waldon, both of Grants Pass, and Michael Waldon of Freeland, Wash.; a daughter, Cookie Campbell of Grants Pass; a brother, Louis Waldon of Columbus, Ohio; a sister, Ruth A. Duffey of Springfield, Ohio; 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
