Doris M. Tidwell, age 60, of Gardendale, went home to Glory on March 3, 2004. She was a member of Mt. Olive First Baptist Church. She was half-owner of First Class Learning Center in Pinson, AL.

She was a loving mother, devoted wife and excellent grandmother. She will truly be missed by all who knew her.

Funeral services will be Saturday, March 6, at 2 p.m. at Ridout's Gardendale Chapel with burial in Oakwood Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be Friday from 6 p.m. til 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Survivors: husband, Ernest Wayne Tidwell; sons, Carl Ray (Tammy) Mansell of Gardendale and Ronald P. (Connie) Mansell of Mt. Olive; daughter, Ronda M. (Jay) Jones of Fosters; ten grandchildren and one great grandchild; brother, Terry F. Graham of Mt. Olive; sister, Louise Glenn of Gadsden. Also survived by her former husband, Mr. W. R. Mansell, Jr. Ridout's Gardendale Chapel directing.
