Charles Henry Alsop, 77, son of John and Mary Alsop. He came to the United States with his parents, on Aug 24, 1848, on the Ship Delta, from London, England. He married Phebe J. Lambert on Feb. 28, 1886 in Rooks Co. KS. They became the parents of 3 sons, Benjamin H., Harvey T., and Harry W. Alsop. His wife died in 1908 leaving him with his three sons to raise. Surviving are his sons, Harvey T. of San Diego, Harry W. of McMinnville, and Bennie Alsop of Tillamook, OR; sisters, Mrs. Sarah Holden of NY, and Mrs. Ruth Mussen of MI. Friends are invited to attend services at Merkley's Funeral parlors, 3655 Fifth Street, on Friday Morning, at 10 o'clock. Rev. Harnish officiating. Interment Mt. Hope Cemetery.
