He attended Bremen Elementary school, and graduated in 1962, the last graduating class from Bremen Rush Creek Memorial High School in Bremen, OH.
William was united in marriage to Lois Kingery on November 5, 1977, at the Brethren Church in Greene. The couple moved to Floyd where they made their home.
William is survived by one sister, Jeanie of Ohio, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
He was predeceased by his wife, Lois, in 1990 and his parents.
Arrangements have been entrusted to Reid's Funeral Chapel 519 N. First St. in Greene.
