"Maritin, Mrs. Ruby Huccaby- 40, of Hammond, Ind., formerly of Clinton, died Friday morning, St. Margaret's Hospital, in Hammond, from injuries received in an automobile accident. Survivors: husband, Lonas Martin; son, PFC Avery L. Martin, US Marines, stationed in Calif.; daughter, Cathy Martin, at home; sisters, Mrs. Clyde Hooks, Mrs. Eugene Turner, both of Clinton; two half sisters, Mrs. Joe Mitchell, Mrs. Richard Phillips, both of Clinton; brothers, John Baird, Lee W. Huccaby, Clinton, Grover Huccaby, Chicago, Ill. The body will arrive in Clinton Sunday. Family will receive friends 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Martin's Clinton. Funeral Monday 2 p.m. at Black Oak Baptist Church, Rev. Delbert Payne officiating. Burial in the church cemetery."
