Allen Gene Lindley, 50, died unexpectedly at his home in Wauzeka Thursday, Nov. 12, of an apparent heart attack. He had been hunting the night before and appeared to be in his usual health. His death was a shock to family and friends.
Mr. Lindley, a life-long resident of the area, had been a truck driver for Sanitary Creamery Co., Inc., of Boscobel for 24 years.
Son of Ernest E. and Esther Marie (Tyler) Lindley, he was in Ithaca Twp., Richland County, Jan. 29, 1931. He had never married.
Survivors are three sisters, Mrs. Doris Miller and Mrs. Lloyd (Ardith) Lindelien, Boscobel, and Mrs. Harold (Lillie) Lewis, Edgerton, and two brothers, James and Jess, both of Wauzeka. Services were held Saturday at the Beeman Funeral Home, with Pastor Paul Andersen officiating. Casket bearers were Gary Lindelien, Richard, Gene, and Jim Lewis, Chuck Miller and Bill Rotramel. Burial was made in the Boscobel Cemetery.
