Mrs. George Westphal, 67 of Eagle Lake, died Tuesday at her home. A native of Norway, she had been a resident of Blue Earth County for 50 years.
The funeral will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Methodist Church of Eagle Lake. The body will be at the residence this evening until 1 o'clock Thursday afternoon when it will be taken to the church to lie in state until the time of the service. Burial will be in the Eagle Lake cemetery.
Mrs. Westphal is survived by her husband, two sons, Duane and Donald Westphal of Eagle Lake, a daughter, Mrs. Robert Hasselfeldt, Eagle Lake, four grandchildren, two sisters, Mrs. Ed Hanson, Brocket N.D., and Mrs. Frank Riese, Eagle Lake, and a brother, John Hall, Eagle Lake. A third son died in an Army camp in 1918 during the World War, and a daughter also preceded her mother in death.
