The funeral of Mrs. Lula Boaz was held from the St. James Baptist church, under the auspices of Queen H. H. of R. Resolutions of sympathy were read from the church and other organizations. Mrs. Boaz was one of the most tireless workers of the church and had lived a consistent Christian since she was nine years of age. She is survived by a sister, three daughters and many other relatives.
