Luigi Palestini, 82, of 1031 Willow Avenue, Hoboken, died on Thursday, January 17, 1957, in St. Francis Hospital.

A native of Italy, he was the father of Americano Palestini, Hoboken's traffic violation clerk. He lived in Hoboken for 58 years. He retired 15 years ago after 30 years service as a marine carpenter with the New Jersey Central Railroad. Another son, Andrew of Hoboken, is employed as a carpenter by the railroad and worked side by side with his father for several years.

Beloved husband of Madalena (nee Travaglini) Palestini; dear father of Andrew, Joseph, Americano, Louis, Mrs. Rose Michelsen. Mrs. Victoria Rossi and the late Mrs. Amelia Bellezza.
