Gloria Deane Prince, a 5 month resident of Lacey, passed away July 13, 1996 after a long illness. She was born Gloria Butterfield in Tenino, WA where she grew up, attended school and then graduated from Kelso High School. Gloria married Roy Prince, June 15, 1945 in Tenino. She worked for Civil Service at Fort Lewis for 27 years before retiring in Tacoma where she resided for 30 years.
Gloria was preceded in death by her husband, Roy Prince, son, Jerry Prince, daughter, Sharon Laughlin, two grandchildren and one great-grandchild. She is survived by her children, Gloria F. Farris of Lacey, Jimmy H. Prince of Lacey, Diane Sayles of Derondo, WI, Joseph P. Prince of Lakewood; 26 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren.
