WINDSOR - Audrey L. Adams, 52, died April 11, 2004, at Mount Ascutney Hospital and Health Center. She was born July 29, 1951, in Windsor, the daughter of Wesley and Ruth (Conley) Ellis. She received her education in Windsor. She married Robert Adams on April 13, 1991, in Windsor. Mrs. Adams worked for Visiting Nurse Alliance of Vermont and New Hampshire for more than 10 years. She also did private duty nursing. Survivors include her husband of Windsor; a son, Patrick Coburn of Belton, S.C.; a daughter, Christine Coburn of Wilder; three stepsons, Harold Coburn Jr. of Oklahoma City, Okla., Danny Coburn of Beaumont, Texas and Stanley Coburn of North Carolina; two stepdaughters, Diane Coburn of Lebanon, N.H., and Susan Emory of Castle Hayne, N.C.; a brother, Frank Ellis and a sister, Andrea Becker, both of Windsor; three grandchildren, eight step grandchildren and several step great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by a brother, Wesley Ellis. The funeral service will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Knight Funeral Home in Windsor with the Rev. Amanda Lape-Freeberg officiating. Burial will follow in Ascutney Cemetery in Windsor. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions in lieu of flowers may be made to the Windsor Visiting Nurses, in care of Mount Ascutney Hospital & Health Center, 289 County Road, Windsor, 05089.
