Ray Arnold Bivens, 49, Vonore, Tenn, and formally of Anderson, died unexpectedly Oct 16 1993 at his home.
He was born April 16 1944in Vonore and lived in Anderson most of his life. He graduated from Anderson High School and served 4 years in the U. S. Army.
He was employed at Delo-Remy for approximately 15 years before moving back to Tennessee. He was currenlty employed as an industrial electrician for Flour-Daniel, a construction company. He also was a member of the Mount Pleasant Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Willie Jean Weatherly, a son, John A Bivens of Anderson, step-children Glenn Stephens and William "Billie" Stephens both of knocksville, Tenn, Jerepatrick Stephens of London, Tenn and Tammie Stephens Hatcher of Louisville, Tenn. His parents Andrew and Lois Bivens of Vonore, Tenn. and brothers Conrad Bivens and James Bivens of Vonore, Tenn. and Mickey Bivens of Anderson, one niece, five nephews and four stepgrandchildren
Friend may call after 1pm today at the family home 1602 Citico Road, Vonore, Tenn.
Cremation will follow.
