After suffering with tuberculosis for the past four years, Mrs. Emma Hilyard Edgecomb, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Ephriam Hilyard, died at one o'clock Sunday afternoon at her home, 415 Harrison avenue. The deceased was the wife of E. E. Edgecomb, and with the mother's death four little children are left with no one to care for them, the eldest only ten, while the youngest is less than four years of age.
The deceased was only 25 years of age, her birthday anniversary coming next Friday. She was born and lived all her life in this county, and was married here when a very young girl. Arrangements have been made to hold the funeral services at 9:30 Tuesday morning at the South Side Church of Christ. Rev. Mr. Miller will have charge and interment will be made in Woodlawn following the service.
