COOKEVILLE — Memorial services for Joshua David Alford, 38, of Crossville, will be conducted Monday, July 14, at 6 p.m. from the chapel of Crest Lawn Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home Monday, July 14, from 3 p.m. until the time of service.

Mr. Alford passed away on Friday, July 11, 2014, at Parkwest Hospital in Knoxville, Tennessee. He was also an organ donor who was able to help save the lives of others.

Mr. Alford was born in Tullahoma, Tenn. on March 14, 1976 to Pattye Lynn and Steve Bainbridge.

Mr. Alford was a devoted father who spent many years of his life on stage as a musician, and in the kitchen as a chef. He was a family oriented man who loved to spend time with his family, his dog Oliver and loved the simple things in life.

His family includes a son, Tristen Clutch Alford of Crossville; two brothers and a sister-in-law, Cory and Jade Liles of Omaha, Neb., and Thomas Bainbridge of Cookeville; a fiancee,Jennifer Monk of Crossville; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, and a loving extended family.

Bro. Theo Watts will be officiating.

In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the family to assist with final expenses.
