JACKSON CENTER — Paul M. Mann, 71, of Jackson Center, passed away Tuesday, July 8, 2014, in his home. He was born on Feb. 28, 1943, in Shelby County, the son of the late Jane (Fogt) Mann and Luther (Harriett) Mann, who survive in Wichita, Kansas.

In addition to his mother, he was preceded in death by a son, Steven Mann, two sisters, Gail Mann and Jean Sell, one brother-in-law, Kevin Sell, one stepbrother-in-law, Bill Morris, and his mother and father-in-law, Carl and Martha Leiss.

On June 19, 1964, in Jackson Center, he married the former Linda S. Leiss and she survives him along with their children, Bill Mann, of Sidney, and Kelly (Jesse) Fark, of Jackson Center; three grandchildren, Lauren, Nolan and Anderson; one sister, Rita (Gary) Gerkey, of Sidney; four brothers, Rex (Carol) Mann, of Arizona, Jerry Mann and Tom (Dixie) Mann, both of Jackson Center, and Keith (Kim) Mann, of Wichita, Kansas; two stepsisters, Beth Morris, of Jackson Center, and Judy (Ed) Thompson, of Indian Lake; and a special neighbor and friend, Matt Himmeger, of Jackson Center; and numerous nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.

After graduation from high school, Paul went to work for Airstream where he spent 31 years and then went to work for Honda of America at the Anna Engine Plant where he spent 17 years before retiring in 2006. He enjoyed yard work and being outdoors. He had a love for horses. Most of all, he loved to spend time with his family, especially his grandchildren.

Paul's family wishes to thank Wilson Home Health & Hospice for their wonderful care and support, especially his primary nurse, Stefanie Cain.

A graveside service will be held at noon on Monday, July 14, 2014, in Glen Cemetery, Port Jefferso,n officiated by Pastors Shannon Voglezang and Joe Humphrey. There are no planned visiting hours.
