John G. Bish Dead
At about 9:30 last evening Mr. John G. Bish, of 810 South Wahsatch avenue, died at St. Francis hospital. The death followed a serious illness of nearly three years, and was caused by the inability of the patient to rally from an operation which was performed about two weeks ago. Mr. Bish has been a resident of Colorado and was very well known by the active part he had taken as a citizen and by the part which has been taken by his family in the affairs of the city. He was the fathe rof Gordon Bish, ex-alderman from the Fourth ward. Mr. Bish was nearly 69 years of age. He was born in Illinois, but had spent many years of his life, before coming to Colorado, In Scotland County, Missouri. He leaves a wife and seven children, most of them grown. One daughter and two sons still reside in Colorado Springs, one of the sons being Gordon bish, who is connected with Craigue's grocery. Mr. Bish had married daughters living in Washington state, Iowa and Nebraska, and one son with the Smith & Brooks Printing company of Denver. The funeral arrangements will be announced later.
