Alexander W. "Alex" Boehmer , 70, of Rich Fountain, died Thursday, Nov 22, 2007 at the Jefferson City Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. He was bor Jan 28, 1937, in Rich Fountain, the son of Adolph J. Cecelia Kloeppel Boehmer, both deceased. Alifelong area resident, Alex was employed as a delivery driver for Coca-Cola for several years. He served in the United States Army from 1955 until 1958. He was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
Survivors include two sons, Bobby Boehmer-Tyler, State of Missouri, Kenny Boehmer-Tyler of the State of California; two daughters, Tammy Wilson and Deborah Boehmer, both of the State of California; four sisters, Kay Boillot of Camdenton, Gerry Neeley of Jefferson City, Lillian Boehmer of Jefferson City and Bernadette Rackers of Taos; two brothers, John Boehmer of the State of California and George Boehmer of Germany. He was preceded in death by a son Billy Boehmer.
Mass of Christian burial was held Nov 26 at the Sacred Heart Catholic Church eith Rev. William Peckman as the celebrant. Interment followed at the Sacred Heart Parish Cemetery.
