Beverly Carol Sutton Brotzman Detrick was born July 19, 1948 the first daughter of Frederick and Cora Kithcart Sutton. she passed away form pancreatic cancer at home July 15, 2014 after a brief illness. She was first married September 01, 1973 to Alan Brotzman, son of Francis and Jeanette Salsman Brotzman. They were the parents of Amey (Mrs. John Johnson) of Ulster and Becky Ann who passed away November 30, 1977 and was buried in the Beaver Meadows Cemetery December 2, 1977. They divorced. Beverly was briefly married to Leo Vaskorlis in July 1992. They divorced. She married the love of her life Kerry Edward Detrick August 19, 2000. She was cremated and will be buried with Kerry.

Beverly had a brother Fred Gordon Sutton September 30, 1949 - December 08, 2001 who was married to Wanda Kobbe. Her sister Barbara is married to William 'Bruce' Williams.

Mrs. Beverly Carol Detrick, age 65, of Quicks Bend, PA passed away peacefully at her home on Tuesday, July 15, 2014 following a brief illness. Beverly was born on July 19, 1948 in Sayre, Pa at the Robert Packer Hospital, a daughter of Cora Kithcart Sutton and the late Frederick W. Sutton. She graduated from the Wyalusing Valley High School as a member of the class of 1967. She married Kerry E. Detrick of Quicks Bend on August 19, 2000. They celebrated their 13th wedding anniversary last year. Beverly was a homemaker and a loving spouse and mother. She enjoyed crafts, camping and spending time at the river with her friends and family. Bev enjoyed making crafts of all kinds with Kerry and selling them at carnivals, fairs, and the Wyalusing Farmers Market. Beverly taught vacation bible school. She began taking classes in January at Penn Foster for retail management to further their business of B&K Products.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, July 26, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at the Wyalusing Presbyterian Church, Church St., Wyalusing, PA with Rev. Dr. Barry R. Ballard officiating. Friends and family may call at the church from 10:00 A.M. until the start of the service at 11:00 A.M. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be sent to www.crowdrise.com/garthsrun which is to support Garth Watson as he runs across the United States to raise money for "Stand up to Cancer" or to a charity of one's choice in loving memory of Beverly Carol Detrick.
