Frances L. Gordon, age 71, of Shawano, WI passed away Saturday, July 10, 2010 at her home in Shawano.
Born June 30, 1929 in Keshena, she was the daughter of the late George A. and Virginia (Olson) Long.
Frances was united in marriage to Charles L. Gordon on October 17, 1956 in Shawano. The couple have lived in Shawano since 1969. Francis was a member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, The Eagles Club and the Challenge of the Outdoors.
She is survived by; her husband of 53 years, Charles;
children; Janet Dahl, Shawano,WI; Kathleen Rodreiguez, Green Bay, WI; Glenda (Larry) Marquette, Shawano, Margaret Gordon, Shawano, Charles (Jan) Gordon Jr., Shawano, WI; Shelly (Chris) Kraly, West Bend, WI.
Frances is further survived by several grandchildren, and great grandchildren;
brother Leroy (Rose) Long, Keshena, WI;
sister Rose Mary (Willard) Klein, Shawano, WI;
and several nieces and nephews.
Frances is preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers, Leo and Donald Long.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, July 14, 2010 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Shawano with Rev. David Barrett officiating. Family and friends may call at the Swedberg Funeral Home on Tuesday, from 4 until 8 p.m., with a wake service at 7 p.m. and again at the church from 10 a.m. Wednesday, until the time of service. Entombment will be in the Sacred Heart Cemetery.
