Mr William Doyle Tedford was born June 7th 1922 in Portalis,New Mexico to Edgar Alberta Tedford and Alma Olla Tedford. Ted,as he was known by friends, was a Staff Sargent in the American Army in the ETO (European Theater of Operations)in the early stages of the war. While there he would meet Miss Barbara Tedford of Healing Lincs,(village outside of Grimsby)England, whom he would later marry. This marrage would produce four children:

After the war they moved to the United States, Texas where his two daughters:
Lorraine Tedford of Waco, March 12, 1947
Jane Denise Tedford(Davis)of Tulia, October 18, 1948.
They would later move to California in 1955, where Ted would work for the Ontario-Montclair School District as a carpenter. It was here where their fourth and last child would be born, Lisa Marie Tedford (Thompson)in September 15th of 1957.
Ted was diagnosed with cancer in 1978, that quickly spread and caused his death in August of 1979.
He is currently survived by five grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
