Benny Eugene Chesser, age 62 of Wewoka, passed away Wednesday, July 16, 2014 in Wewoka, Oklahoma. He was born June 10, 1952 in Wewoka, Oklahoma to the late Benjamin Franklin Chesser and Ora Elizabeth Dutey.
Benny was a member of Wewoka Gleaners Holiness Church. He loved to watch Western movies and collect old cars and spend time with his family. Benny previously worked for Oakridge Nursing Home and Clay Pipe of Seminole.
Preceding Benny in death are his parents, sisters, Peggy Harmon and Debbie Harrison and one brother, Jimmy Leon Chesser. Survivors include children, B.J. Chesser of Tecumseh, Oklahoma, Rusty Chesser of Wewoka, Anthony Chesser of Oklahoma City, Charletta Chong-Sang and Shannon Haggard, ten grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
Memorial service will be Thursday, 10:00 a.m., July 24, 2014 at Wewoka Gleaners Holiness Church with Pastors Larry Chesser and Bill Chesser officiating.
Services under the direction of Phillips Funeral Home, Wewoka, Oklahoma.
