Bertha M. Gentry, 80, of 308 S. Sterling died Wednesday, Sept. 2, 1992, at Proctor Hospital.
Born March 19, 1912, in Columbia, Ky., to Marcus and Louellen Redmon McQueary, she married the Rev. Fletcher S. Gentry on Nov. 20, 1931, in Columbia. He died June 28, 1982, in Germantown Hills. She also was preceded in death by three sisters and two brothers.
Surviving are one daughter, Delores Lane of Camby, Ind.; one son, Harold W. of West Peoria; one nephew who was raised in her home, Shelva McQueary of San Antonio; and two sisters, Mary Burton of Edinburgh, Ind., and Veney Adams of Columbus, Ind.
Burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens in Peoria.
