Alton Barefoot
Alton Blakely Barefoot, 90, died Wednesday at a local hospital. Services will be at 10 a.m., Friday at BrookView Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Randy Hughes officiating. Burial will follow at Waco Memorial Park.
Mr. Barefoot was born March 5, 1911, in Jonesboro, Texas. He was the son of James Newton and Addie Pearl Barefoot. Alton retired from William Cameron Mill Company after 50 years of service. After his retirement he worked for Oakwood Cemetery for many years.
Survivors include his wife, Margrett Barefoot; daughter, Norma Kay Morgan; 3 grand-children; and four great-grandchildren.
