Mr. Beal was born in Madison Missouri he was a member of the Masonic Lodge in Erie, Illinois he was a Baptist he is survived by his wife, Clema Jenkins Beal two sons Joe Beal of Crawfordville , Florida and Larry Beal of Gainesville daughter Maxine Sommese of Gainesville a brother Joe Athison of Mount Vernon Illinois A sister Mrs. Bernadine Horton of Mount Vernon four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
