Dorrine E."Mitz" Bulgrien of Saginaw, Michigan, loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, went to be with The Lord on Saturday, July 19, 2014. Age 83 years. Daughter of the late Werner and Dora (Schramm) Velzke, Dorrine was born May 20, 1931 in Rice County, Minnesota. She was married to Walter B. (Gus) Bulgrien on May 3, 1952. He predeceased her May 19, 2001. Dorrine was an active member of Bethlehem Lutheran Church. She was also a member of the Red Hatters and volunteered many hours at Abortion Alternatives. Dorrine enjoyed bowling and putting together Braille books. Surviving are three daughters and one son, Shirley Jo and Jack Kelly, Hudsonville; Linda and Randy Williams, Defiance, Ohio; Thomas and Linda Bulgrien, Phoenix, New York; Sandy and Jeff Kurz, Brighton; her grandchildren, Adam (Amy) Kelly, Emily Kelly, Matthew (Heather) Williams, Thomas Williams,Sarah (Joshua) Hoffer, Kaitlyn Bulgrien, Benjamin Bulgrien, Alex Kurz, Shannon Kurz; eight great-grandchildren, Jacob, Browen, Gabriel, Grady, Lala, Stanley, Zacary and Blake; her sister, Eldora Krause, Minnesota; two sisters-in-law, Edith Fousek and Shirley Graudin; several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Funeral Service will take place 11:00 a.m. Thursday, July 24, 2014 at Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 808 Weiss, Saginaw. Rev. Michael R. Korte will officiate with burial in Bethlehem Lutheran Cemetery. Friends may call at The Snow Funeral Home, 3775 N. Center Rd. (Between Shattuck and McCarty) where the family will be present on Wednesday from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and at the church on Thursday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
