Adam James Ross, age 31, of Jefferson, Louisiana passed away October 25, 2012 at his residence. Adam was born in Parkersburg, West Virginia on July 13, 1981 to Thomas Ross and Valerie Tilson Markos. Adam was raised in Middleburg, FL and has resided in Louisiana for the past six years. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers fan. He passionately followed them his entire life. Adam enjoyed building models, classic vintage cars and collecting vintage comic books. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandmother, Georgia Tilson and his paternal grandfather, Honus Ross. Adam is survived by his mother, Valerie (Dennis) Markos of Lake Butler, FL; his father, Tom (Susan) Ross of Middleburg, FL; his beloved wife, Sarah Sommer Day of Jefferson, LA,; his first wife, Abbegail Dabbelt; his only son, Jonathan Ross; his brothers, Tommy (Melissa) Ross of Kentucky, Sean and Phillip Ross both of Middleburg, FL; his nephew, Tyler Ross; his maternal grandfather, Charles Tilson of Macclenny, FL; his paternal grandmother, Rose Ross of Rainelle, WV; and many cousins.
Funeral Services will be held at on Friday, November 2, 2012 at 10:00 am at Oak Grove Cemetery in Middleburg, FL. The family will receive friends and family on Thursday November 1, 2012 from 6:00 - 8:00 pm at the funeral home. The arrangements are under the care and direction of V.
