Carl Bruni,, 62, Monroe, Dies

MONROE — A five weeks' illness was fatal early today to Carl Bruni, 62, retired farmer, who died at the hospital here. He was widely known as a bandonian musician playing old time dance music and was one of the last of this type musicians in the county. A native of Switzerland, he came to Monroe 55 years ago.
Surviving are the widow, two daughters, Mrs. Elton Hale and Doris, both of Monroe; three sons, Arthur, John, and Floyd, all of Monroe; six grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Rose Zweifel and Mrs. John Burkhard, Sr., Monroe, and a brother, Fred, Monroe.
