Glenn Dail Taylor Services for Glenn Dail Taylor, 80, of Lovington will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, January 28 at First United Methodist Church in
Lovington. Burial will be at Lovington Cemetery under the direction of Kirby-Smith Rogers Funeral Home. Taylor died January 24th at Hobbs Health Care.
Visitation will be Thursday, January 26 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, January 27 from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m., and Saturday, January 28 from 8 a.m. to noon.
He was born June 25, 1925 in Hollis, Oklahoma and married Mary Louise Nix in Childress, Texas on October 31, 1945.
He was in the Marine Corp. during WWII, serving in the Pacific as an aircraft mechanic where he reached the rank of Corporal. He moved to Prairieview from Earth, Texas in 1950 where he farmed and ranched. He built Taylor and Heidel Inc. and became successful in the
agri-business.
He was preceded in death by: his parents Albert and Elsie Taylor; five brothers, Clifford, George, C.O., Carl and Maried; one sister, Juanita Cunningham; one grandson, Eric Clayton; and one great-grandson, Cole Jennnings.
