He was Sgt. in the U.S Army serving in the Pacific area during World War II and had been employed at the Star Mine welders shop for seven years. He married Joyce Hiaring in Kellogg on Aug 12, 1950. He was a member of Wallace Eagles Aerie No. 54.
Survivors includes his wife and three daughters and his mother, Bernice Gallinger. Also three brothers: David, Osburn, Id, Dale, Salem, Ore., Richard of Emmett, Wash.
