Mrs Lena G. Smith 74, Salina RFD3, died Tuesday at St. John's Hospital after a long illness.
She was born June 29, 1897, at Delphos. She and her husband celebrated their 55th wedding anniversary last month,
She was a member of the Immaculate Conception Roman Catholic Church, Solomon and St. Ann's Altar Society.
Survivors are the widower, Clarence, of the home; 4 daughters, Mrs. Leroy Ray, Springfield, MO; Mrs Doris Davis, Fredricksburg, VAl, Mrs. Frank Garten, Abilene, and Mrs Art Oldham, Kempner, Tex.; and a sister Mrs Louise Eiler, Beloit.
The funeral will be at 10 am Friday at the church. Msgr. G.J. Landoll officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Calvary cemetery near Solomon.
A Rosary will be recited at 8:30 pm Thursday at the Carlson Funeral home, Solomon.
