Mrs. Ella M. Lashley, 82 of 15742 Lowe Rd., was pronounced dead on arrival at City Hospital at 11 a.m. Saturday following an extended illness. Born in Temperanceville, Oct. 18, 1887, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Hanna Johanna Huntsman. She lived in the vicinity 12 years and was a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include five sons, C.J. (Jaake) Lashley with who she resided, Homer of Marlboroa, Issac of Louisville, Thomas of East Canton and Robert R. of Zanesville; two daughters, Mrs. Bertha Kenner of Cedar Rapids, Iowa and Mrs. Nora Martelet of Alliance; a brother , George of Phoenix, AZ; a sister, Mrs. Lydia Copeland of Barnesville; grandchildren; and great grandchildren.
Her husband, Frank, died in 1952. A sister, Lottie Lallathin, died Friday in Anderson, Indiana.
Funeral services will be held tomorrow at 10:30 a.m. at the Walton-Schrader Funeral Home with Mr. David Reeves the Church of Christ officiating. Burial will be made at 1:30 p.m. in Zanesville Memorial Park. Friends may call tonite from 7 - 9 p.m. at the funeral home.
