From the Lethbridge Herald of Monday, 5 Mar 1945 (P12), via Newspapers.com:
A former Natal resident, John Rothel, died suddenly and was buried at Fernie recently. His parents at present live on a farm up the Elk Valley, some three miles west of Natal. Deceased, until a short time ago, had worked in the Michel mines, where he had been for many years.John was born in Michel B.C

Aged 16 At Mitchel BC. On 27/12/1938 At the brides home.
Witnesses: William Dixon & Annie Brewer both from Natal B.C.

This marriage was dissolved 15/10/1941 at Cranbrook B.C

His occupation was a Teamster.

He left a widow Susie

John was 38 years old when he died at Fernie General Hospital.

His brother William Rothel was the informant at the time of his death.

Burial on 27/02/1945
