MISS MARIAN [sic] MACK DIES IN CALIFORNIA
Word was received in this city yesterday of the death of Miss Marion Mack, formerly of this city, who died Wednesday at Los Angeles, California. No detail were sent with the message which was received by a sister, Mrs. Frank Chapin, 722 South Thirteenth street. Miss Mack had been in good health according to last word received from her in this city previous to her death.

Miss Mack will be remembered by many in this city as an actress. She was at first a chorus girl with the original production of the "The Tenderfoot" company and later was given a leading part in a number of musical comedies.

While in Los Angeles, she has been a movie actress in the employ of the Selig Polyscope company. She has been connected with the western troupe of this film company for some time.

Decedent received her education in this city and previous to joining a theatrical company had won a number of medals in elocution contests.

She was a graduate of St. Mary's Parochial school and was a member of the Church of the Immaculate Conception, while the entire family resided in this city.

For several years, she and her mother and one brother have resided in Chicago.

Miss Mack is survived by her mother; five sisters, Mrs. Will King and Mrs. Joseph Grimes, Chicago; Mrs. William Jacoby, Joilet; Mrs. Frank Chapin, of this city; and Miss Agnes Mack of Los Angeles, Cal.; and by two brothers, William Mack of Chicago and John Mack of this city.

The remains will be brought to this city. The time and place of the funeral will be announced later.

MACK - The remains of Miss Marion Mack, a former resident of this city, whose death occurred at Los Angeles, Cal., Wednesday, were forwarded from that city last night and will arrive in Springfield either Tuesday night or Wednesday morning of next week.

Arrangements for the funeral will be announced later.

John Mack, a brother of decedent, will go to Kansas City Monday and meet the remains, accompanying them to this city.

MACK - The remains of Miss Marion Mack will arrive at 2:30 o'clock this morning from Los Angeles, Cal., and will be taken to the residence of her sister, Mrs. Frank Chapin, 722 South Thirteenth street.

The funeral will be held at 10 o'clock tomorrow morning at the residence and at 10:30 o'clock at the Church of the Immaculate Conception. The Rev. Father Hickey, pastor of the church, will officiate.

The interment will be made in Calvary cemetery.
