A bright and beautiful light went out with the passing of Jane Curtis on April 14, 2014 and now the love of her life Drew has followed. Near the end of her life Jane predicted that Drew would not be far behind. With a smiling face, Drew retorted that Jane could not tell him when his time had come. Their special marriage of 70 years will be celebrated in September of this year. Drew Curtis led an exemplary life as a truly good man. He also loved the Lord with all his heart. His son, Drew III, preceded him. He is survived by his daughter Beverly Curtis Rogers and her husband Mack, four grandchildren: Brandon, Brittney, Joshua and Mary Margaret Rogers, two sisters: Sherry Alvarado and Judy Petullo, and loving friends. Drew was cheerful in all weathers and totally devoted to Jane and his family. Jane and Drew's love and their lives together were meant to be. A graveside service will be held Friday, July 25 at Sparkman Hillcrest Cemetery at 12:15 PM, followed by a memorial service at St Michael Chapel at 1:00 PM. St Michaels and All Angels Episcopal Church, 8011 Douglas Ave in Dallas.
