He married Amanda M. Wakefield and fathered Florence M. (b. @1886), Job W. (b. @1888), Nellie B. (b. @1891), and Margaret R. (b. @1893). Death came from "acute indigestion producing paralysis of heart" due to "indiscretion in habits."
According to his death certificate, he was buried in Concord Cemetery in East Waterford Township, which appears to be erroneous.
